Wine-making holds a significant place in the hearts of many Cretan families, bringing generations together and fostering the sense of community. Throughout history, wine has been an integral part of celebrations and life's joys. That's why wine harvesting is not just an ordinary event; it's a celebration of life, memories, and the anticipation of many more beautiful moments yet to come that will be celebrated with wine.

Grapes is an Educational Multisensory Immersive Experience - Documentary' that guides participants through the time-honored tradition of grape harvesting, emphasizing the crucial role of preserving these age-old techniques to strengthen our connection with nature. In an engaging 7-minute hybrid reality experience, participants roll up their sleeves and senses to master the craft of grape picking and pressing, extracting the juice that ultimately becomes wine, all while guided by narrations of my Cretan family

Making of “Grapes”

Vineyard - world design and building
It was of critical importance to make the vineyard as close to reality and my memories as possible. For that specific reason, I asked my dad to collect some leaves from our vineyard in Crete, Greece, which were then scanned by my grandad and used to create different trees. I utilized a software called SpeedTree and then exported them into Unreal Engine 5.2.

My Metahuman Dad
After 3d scanning my Dad, I was able to create his Metahuman avatar in Unreal Engine.
